I have a diverse background in design and problem-solving, with a strong emphasis on empathizing with users and learners to create impactful designs. I excel in researching and analyzing user data to develop design-based solutions that adhere to UX design tactics, Gestalt principles, and color theory. My Doctorate of Education in Instructional Technology & Design from the University of Virginia focused on the UX analysis of a conversational agent used for simulation education through a sociotechnical lens. Additionally, I hold a Master of Science in Communication, Media & Culture from Drexel University and studied art communications at East Carolina University and computer science at Alvernia University, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of UX from various perspectives to formulate user-centered experiences. My multidisciplinary background equips me with the ability to relare with users needs, allowing me to craft impactful and user-centered experiences.

Leveraging usability laws, robust methodologies, and comprehensive user data, I have a proven track record as a generalist designer crafting designs that exemplify cleanliness, intuitiveness, and compelling visual aesthetics for interactive and motion design. My expertise initially took root in web development and has since expanded to encompass mobile apps, online education, and interactive learning modalities. This includes conducting usability studies, designing wireframes, and creating prototypes to test and iterate on designs.

Illustration and Traditional Art

With a lifelong passion for the arts, I dedicate a significant amount of my free time to painting and illustrating. Initially, my focus was on creating acrylic paintings, but recently I have been exploring digital artwork using an iPad as well as watercolor painting.

Children’s Book Author

In 2016, I released my debut children's book titled "Zotts & His Unfortunate Spots." The book addresses the issue of bullying and serves as a tribute to my family name and my late Uncle who passed away at a young age. My aim in writing this book is to inspire young readers to embrace kindness and develop a love for reading.
